River Falls Fire Department
The River Falls Fire Department serves the northern part of Greenville County, South Carolina, providing fire protection, emergency medical services, and rescue operations to the local community. Located in the upstate region of South Carolina, this volunteer fire department covers a rural area with a mix of residential, agricultural, and light commercial properties.

Fire Supression
The department is equipped with modern fire trucks and equipment to handle structural fires, wildfires, and vehicle accidents. They are trained to manage fires in a variety of environments, including wooded areas common to northern Greenville County.
Emergency Medical Services
River Falls Fire Department also provides emergency medical services, including basic life support (BLS) care and assisting in patient transport. In partnership with local EMS providers, the department can respond to medical emergencies quickly and efficiently, establishling patient care long before an ambulance arrives.
Search and Rescue
In addition to fire suppression, the department is trained in technical rescue operations, such as vehicle extrication, water rescues, and high-angle rescues. River Falls Fire Department responds to injured and lost hikers on any trails in the district. We are home to a majority of the the Mountain Bridge Trail System, including Jones Gap State Park.
